This day. The City of Auckland Wreck.

The City of Auckland i> still in the lame position. The ship's crew and a party of natives under Jenkins, an old whaler, are busy dismantling the ship and discharging immigrants' luggage. Aotive operations under Captains Bendall and Balls will be commenced at once to discharge the cargo, which, it is beliered, will be landed in first class order, as the City has not made but little water as yet. A custom-house officer with a patty of constabulary are camped off the beach,

and will guard the cargo when landed until carted for shipment to Foxton.

The barque Felix Stowe is breaking up rapidly, the seas washing in and out her. The beach from Waikanae to Ohau presents a lamentable aspect, being strewn with wreckage, coals, planking, etc. The body of Captain Piggott of the Felix Stowe has not yet been found, although diligent search has been made by Constable Ransfield and other for some days past. Messrs Oakes and Ardern, purchasers of the wreck of the Felix Stowe, have a party of men employed in striking the mast, yards, and riggings. The hull is settling rapidly down in the sand.
