CURE.

The erost-ent being driven to cut No. 6 lode is now in a rather tight bar of ground, which renders the progress slower than has hitherto been. The cross-cut is now in nearly 80 feet, leaving about 120 feet yet to drive to reach the point where the lode should be intersected. This work when completed will be of considerable value, as not only will it prove the No. 6 reef, but Gilmour's leader which has been worked remuneratively at No. 1 level, has been intersected, and looks very promising. The various tribute parties are engaged breaking out trial oruihings.
