This day.

(Sir George Grey visits Australia immediately after the session for the pur* pose of urging colonial reciprocity, and endeavoring to secure some basis of a common agreement between the colonies on the subject.

The Government intend to invite ten* ders in Europe and America for the manufacture of all New Zealand railway materials, of New Zealand products, in the colony. This is done with the object of promoting manufactures in the colony, and developing the iron industry.
