The lode afcifie bottom level,, west^iire, continues to look well, and good stone is coming to band ever/ breaking down; 201bs of picked stone was obtained on Saturday from this working. :At the Prince Alfred battery for the first few days a very rough kind of quartz was put through, but the quartz now being treated is showing up better. There are about 260 pounds of specimen stone on hand, which will probably be oruihed\at the' Moanatairi mill to-morrow. '
