Ihe funeral of James McKelvie, .who; succumbed yesterday morning, to the; injuries he received in the Queen of Beauty mine on Friday last, took place . to-day <rom the residence, of his sister, Mrs Ludlow, Karaka Creek/ Deceesed being a member of Sir Walter Scott Lodge of Free nasons, and having expressed a wish to be buried with Masonic ceremonial, the lodge of which he was a member had the' funeral arrangements in hand, and assembled, together with Lodge of Light and Corinthian Lodge, to the num- v ber of about 80 to-day and proceeded to.i join the cortege at the residence of deceased's sister. The weather wai ex>.: tremely unfavorable, and militated against a larger attendance. The, ceremonial at the grave is proceeding as we go to press. ."
