DUNEDIN.
. Tuesday. The Public Works Department are taking steps, in conjunction with the Survey Department, to have a completd record made of the flood levels throughout the Middle Island.
The South Dunedin Council, have expressed themselves in favor of a street tramway in that Borough. The East Taieri Hotel was destroyed by fire last night. The building was insured in the Standard Office for £250, and the furniture and stock for £200 in the Victoria Office, and £300 in the Standard.
