N0.2 Scottish Firing for Belt and Money Prises.
The afternoon squad of this- company fired on Saturday for their belt and four other prizes.' There was a large-number on the range, and for a' young company —most of the members of which have not had more than a month's practice, and ,some none at all—the scores made were passable. The highest scores of the afternoon squad^were as follows:— -
We published the scores of the morning squad on Saturday, which leaves the prize winners 'as follows: —Adams 48, White 47, Trenwith 47, Buckley 46, Lawlor .45. The arrangements gave the greatest satisfaction. Messrs A. Puckey and J. Wright efficiently performed the onerous duties of scorers.
