THIS DAY. (Before W. Fvaser, Esq., Warden.) H. MCILHONE V. J. AIGIB. John Algie was charged on the information of the Inspector of Miners' Bights with cutting timber fcr sale without a license. . Defendant admitted the offence. He said he wan in poor circumstances, and had taken a few sticks of firewood for his own use. v ; . Mr Mcllhbne said he would not press for a heavy penalty. Fined 13 and costs. Court adjourned.
