A man named Lawrence Dennis, arrested for burglary in the house of Tho«. Patrick, for stealing a cash-box containing £13, was brought up at Court and remanded till to-morrow. The criminal calendar contains the following cases:—Four of larceny, one of forgery, one of rape, one murder, three of arson, one malicious injury to property, one burglary, one case of killing cattle with intent to steal the carcase. The damages having been repa'red to the line, the ordinary train is running north as usual. At a meeting of shareholders of the proposed Temperance Hall last night it was resolved to advertise for a site. 1800 shares are taken up, but building will not j be begun until SCOO are allotted. j
