Arrived: The barque Olivia Davis from Newcastle. The master reports that on the 17th of September, when within 40 miles of the Solanders, Thomas Miller, an. able seaman on board, was washed overboard, and all efforts to save him proved ineffectual owing to the dense fog. Sailed : The s.s. Wanaka, for Northern ports.
