Arrived: Taranaki, from the South. At the Police Court to-day Catherine Higgiris was fined £3 and costs for Sunday liquor selling. Daniel McSweeney, on a charge of committing rape on a woman at Onehunga, was remanded till Wednesday. Thos. Smith on a charge of larceny'was committed for trial.
