' Wednesday. A crow Jed meeting, of town and country people was held last night to consider the Public Works Statement, Mr Barnicoat in the chair. Speeches were made showing how faith had been broke.n'with Nelson in the matter of the West Coast railway. The following resolutions were past unanimously :—'.'
