The Marionettes.

To-night the Academy of Music will be occupied by the famous Marionettes, whose diverting entertainment will be sure to attract large audiences. The performances commence with the ChristyMinstrels, whose antics are so very natural that the figures could well be mistaken for animated beings. The accompanying music and singing is first-rate. The Italian Fantoccini, the affecting story of the '.' Babes in the Wood," and the harlequinade are all features which children and adults can appreciate. The scenery is grand, and all the appointments equal to ths requirements of a first-class theatre; and we expect the Marionettes will hare a very successful season.
