A young man named Frank Martin was killed at the railway station at noon to-day while shunting goods carriages. The deceased, who was a porter, ran in between two timber trucks with the intention of coupling them. Some timber was protruding over the trucks, and caught hiir. on the chest and back. He was crushed to death immediately.
