| There was an animated debate in the House last night on the Constitutional Befoim Bill. It is not concluded. Sailed : A'hr. abra. Sydney, Thursday. Dr L-ng died to-day. The Government have directed a public funeral for Saturday. Latest Caledonian advices state that the revolted tribes are making a determined stand. The troops have surrounded them, but are acting on the defensive, awaiting the arrival of reinforcements. There have been no further massacres.
