RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before W. Fraser, Esq., R.M.) DBUNKENNESS AKD VAGBANCY.
Stephen Farrelly • was charged with having been drunk and incapable yesterday, and also with having been three times convicted of drunkenness within the preceding twelve months. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to imprisonment for three months with hard labor. LUNACY. John Hetherington w&s charged oh suspicion of lunacy and remanded till Monday. FALSE PEETENCE. There was a case of false pretence on the list, but Mr Macdonald announced that th2-e was no case, and he would produce no evidence. - . Court adjourned.
