A special meeting of this company was held on Saturday evening after drill for the nomination of officers r,nd jnon-c mmissioned officers." Captain^ Macdocald presided, and there was a large muster of the memberai Captain Macdonnld was unanimously requested to retain command, which he cordially agreed to do, and gave some good hints as to what -he woxild do himself in drill, and what he should expect from the officers and noa- commissioned officers who were to be elected. A number of good men were also nominated for Sergeants and Corporals. "Volunteer T. Eawdon was unanimously appointed- • „ Assistant Quartermaster-Sergeant.
