The manager reports the reef not yet to hand in the tunnel cross-cut. Poor progress is made as the country is very hard. The usual fortnightly retorting took place at the company's mill to day for the moderate return of 2440zs of gold. The crushing of 11 tons of stuff and the parcel of picked stone for Kneebone and party has been completed for the good yield of 57 ounces 4dwts gold. Quaelly and party have finished their crushing for the yield of 14ozs '9dwts gold.
