The Murder at Czford.
Further particalai-s regarding the murder at Oxford show that the deceased woman had excited her.husbaud's jealousy by being too friendly with, a man named Barrett, who lodged wilb them. Hoff c. mplains of the infidelity of his wife, wh'ch was very notorious in the Oxford distrct. Barvett bffc the house early ou the morning of the murder, but whether any quarrel occurred prior to it no one knows. Hoff is about sixty years of age, i,ni latterly has been much given to drink. " The sale of the Linwood estate, 52 acres, one mile from Christchurch, took pla c yesterdsy. It was divided into quarter acre sections, and realised £18,432. Three years ago Mr Brittain,
