LORD NELSON.
This claim, which has been re-entered by the Warden, has been taken up by Goodwin arid p^rty. They have started work on a lode never before worked, and from which good prospects have been obtained. They have a small trial lot at Mr Hal court's tent mill, which is expected to give a satisfactory result. Some former shareholders of this claim went to considerable expense in erecting a wire tramway, hoppers, etc, from the claim to the Karaka tramway, and as this is in good repair, the out-put of the mine can be got down cheaply. Birnie" and mates, the proprietors of the Trafalgar claim, a piece of ground below the Lo.d Nelson, are the ksse33 of this tramway from tLe County Council.
