RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before A. J. Allom and H. Goldsmith, Esqs., J's.i?.) DHTXNKENMESS. Three persons were charged with this offence. Two of them were on bail, and, failing to appear, their bail was forfeited. The oilier pleaded guilty, and was fined in the usual manner. LABCENY. Hira Hokohoko, a native, was charged with steeling from Hikurangi road, Ohine-
muri, one tent fly, one stick of tobacco, and half a bar of soap, the property of Ho3ro Miniha, on the 15th ult. Sergeant Fleming applied for a remand till to-morrow, which was granted. Court adjourned.
