. THIS DAY. (Before W. Fraser, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. One old offender was punished in the usual manner for this offence. ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. There was a case of abusive language on the list, but as neither party turned up, it was struck out. ..■■■> CHIMNEY ON FIRE. Edward F. Tizard was charged with unlawfully permitting the chimney of the bouse occupied by him in Upper Grey street, Parawai, to take fire. Mr Erassey appeared for defendant, and-pleaded guilty.; Fined 10s and costs. Cor.""t adjourned. '
