CURE.
The manager informs me that; lie has not broken down, the reef in the drive since the end of last week, the hard nature of the country making the strip*
ping of the lode a somewhat slow process, and it ia unlikely that a shot will be fired in the reef till this afternoon. There is no change to mention in any other part since my lost report. In order to have everything squared up for the half-yearly meeting, which comes off shortly, crushing will be commenced at the Prince Alfred battery on Monday. The tonnage of general stuff is rather small, but it should shape well, and the sCoand odd pounds of specimens and picked dirt on hand will greatly assist in making a first-class yield. If it were not for "the meeting, the crushing would not have taken place for some weeks yet.
