THE BIG PUMP.
The water is not out of the shaft yet, and the pumps are working at the speed of sor 6 strokes per minute. At present the winding engine is stop ?ed, and is re. ceiving a thorough overhaul. The pump, since the stoppage, ia working splendidly.
