WATCHMAN.
The tributers, Gorge and par y, a::e Jlikely to do very well with their section. The blow in the reef has opened out to about 11 or 12 feet—all payable stuff— and ' yesterday fome fine picked stones were obtained. There are some 30 feet of backs fn this level, and when the low level cuts the reef there will be 60 or 70 feet, and perhaps more aa the lode lies very flat. The blow, however, in ny have been expected to decrease in size. The crushing at the Prince Alfred mill with ten head is going splendidly, at least 2ozs per ton, which, from a large body of quartz and moderately cheap transit, it is needless to say wi',l pay handsomely. Stuff worth lOdwts per ton would remunerate the tributers. The,y intend to keep the 10 head going constantly, and will not retort till to-morrow week. The tributers iii my presence refused. £130 for a share (one-eighth).
