CURE.
No breaking down has taken place since Fiiday last, and it is not likely that a shot will be fired in the reef till to-morrow. Stripping the lode in the slopes was in progress this more ing. In the back gold still shows with little change since my last report. A fair show is also to be seen in the face of the drive where the leader is rather less than a foot thick. The country is good for gold, and the manager expects to be up to junction of Morrison's leader within the next 10 feet of driving. The present backs are about 30 feet high, but as the manager is putting a downward slope into the course of the drive, the block as it goes towards the boundary will be increased in size.
