Friday. A meeting of members of the Church of England was held last night to consider whether they would accept Bishop Neville's offer, that if the diocese purchased Milburn estate of ten acres, hewould erect an Episcopal residence on.it, at his own expense. It was resolved, "That, considering the circumstances of. the diocese, the, offer could not be accepted."

A man named fower has been sentenced in the Police Court to three months' hard labour for disobeying an order of the Court to contribute to the support of bis children in the Industrial School. '
