PRINCE IMPERIAL.
The sinking of the two winzes at the bottom level is making good progress, both of them now being down about 20 feet. The reef is looking prelty well. In the seaward drive the lode is about 15 inches thick, and good colors of gold are perceptible in the quartz. No stoping has yet been started on this lode. The Mariner's reef at the intermediate level continues to look promising, and the manager intends to try a portion of it. Crushing will be completed to-morrow, but retorting will not eventuate till the beginning of next week, as there are a lot of tailings to put through. There have been about 50 loads carted to the battery. PIAKO. Sara and party have finished their crushing for the yield of lOozs 16dwts gold. MOANATAIBI. Comes and party and Furnell and party finished their crushings to-day for the respective yields of 19ozs 14dwts and sozs ldwt gold.
