ALBURNIA.
Breaking down in the No. 2 winze last night gave 401bs of specimen stone. No gold is showing in the face of drive west from No. 3 winze, intermediate. A few lbs of specimens were obtained from the rise. McLean and party are working the small leader in the wall of the big lode they worked out last year, and are making it pay well. They have finished crushing a lot of 20 or 30 tons at the Prince Alfred battery which has yielded Slozs ldwt gold.
