OAMARU.
Friday,
A fatal accident occurred at Incholme, Kakanui, to-day. A man named Alex. Macandrew was in the act of getting on a threshing machine while it was being removed, when his foot slipped and he fell to the ground, and one wheel of the machine passed over his body. The doctor was immediately sent for, but the man died before he arrived. The deceased was 35 years old, and owns a farm with his brother at Portobello.
