Monday. Sereo, canoes, four being large war canoes with' fully manned crews, hare just arrived here to greet Sir George Grey and the Hon. Mr Shcehan to tho Hikurangi meeting. No Europeans except those of the Government party will be allowed at the meeting. The Ngatikawa will take charge of them at the ridge leading to the settlement.
Tawbiao met the Lower Waikatos on their arrival at the falls. Some five hundred natives were present. Tawhiao, being unwell, returned at once to Tapahia.
