Saturday. The prospectus is advertised of a company to take over from Heed nnd Fenwick the Daily Times and (weekly) Witness papers, with a capital of forty thousand pounds, in £10 shares, thirty thousand to be called up. It is announced that half of the shares have already been taken up by the provisional directors. These are the Honorables Keynolils, Sir J. Bichardson, 11. Campbell, Captain Eraser, it. Stout; Judge Chapman, and Mr John Reed (Coroner Bush), Dr Hock en, Mr K. H. Lear/ (Major), Mr Marshall (Marshall and Couplatid), Mr C. Guthrie (Guthrie and Larnach), Mr Hnllenstein, Mr Fenwick, Mr. Bastingsi M.H.U., and Mr Hardy, architect, Tim balance sheet of the last half-year, as audited, shows a profit at the rate of 18 per cent, ou the capital to be called up, aud Messrs JRccd and Fenwick retain three hundred 'and fifty shares each, and retain their positions as editor and managing director for two yean.
