DUNEDIN.
Friday. At the Police Court today, Alexander H. Logan, son of John Logan, J.P., brother-in-law of Mr Stout, AttorneyGeneral, was charged by J. G. S. Grant with an assault over the horsewhipping case on Easter Monday. The Magistrate said if lie did abstract justice he would dismiss the complaint, but in the administration of the law he would fine him one shilling and costs.
