Henry Fisher and Walter Coker; storekeepers at Palmerston were charged with conspiring to defraud their creditor^. They were tried at tho Supreme Court. The case lasted two days. The jury returned a verdict of guilty on all counts. Sentence deferred till Saturday. .

Henry Fisher and Walter Cocker, of Palmerston, found guilty of conspiracy to defraud their creditors,, were sentenced this morning each to six months' imprisonment with hard labor.
