At the adjourned inquest on the body of the boy Steele, additional eridence was given showing that Mrs Steele had been seen beating the boy brutally, and shortly beforn ho was found wounded she was heard to threaten to knock his brains out with the poker. A rerdict of manslaughter was returned against Mrs Steele. .
