OLD SIAM.
The trial crushing of l&'tons, at the Herald mill, from this claim yielded loz 2dwts gold. This from a four feet lode is eminently satisfactory, and when the track has been made a little more passable it is intended to bring down 15 tons on a sleigh, and if that teat is remunerative the road will be put in an efficient state of repair. It would cost £60, of which the shareholders are willing to pay half.
