This day.

In the Supreme Court this morning, Green for robbery from the lteefton Post Office was brought up for sentence. Tho Crown Prosecutor read a telegram from the Postmaster-Genoral saying he did not desire a heavy sentence, as the prisonor had been six months in gaol, and seeing that there was no proper classification of the prisoners the Chief Justice said it was a case in which he could adopt the Postmaster's suggestion, and seutened the lad to three days.
