QUEEN OF BEAUTY.
The Piako low level cross-cut is proceeding slowly towards the shaft, in consequence of the hard nature of the country which has to be driven through. There is no sign of the water being tapped as yet, but very soon a channel should be cut. The drive into the Queen of the May section proceeds, and the stopes are coming along in payable quarte.
