WESLEYAN BAZAAR.

The bazaar was well patronised during yesterday afternoon and evening, and good business was done. During the evening the proceedings were enlivened by music at intervals, the following programme being gone through, Mr T. A. Bell officiating at the piano:—Song, Mrs John Gribble; duet, Misses George; duet, Mrs John Gribble and Miss E. J. Gribble ; song, Mr S. Meachem. All present seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly, either by admiring the many beautiful articles on the stalls or dodging the fair itinerant vendors of some article such as cushions. The following were the receipts of the day:—Cash taken at the door, £10 2s 6d; stalls, £35 6s lOd; Christmas tree,-12s 2d; refreshment stall, £1 9s 3d—total, £47 10s 9d. The bazaar will be continued this evening, when the remainder of the articles will be sold at reduced rates.
