Mblboubnb, Tuesday. In the Assembly Mr Berry moved the adjournment to Thursday, and stated that he had positive assurance that the terms of compromise which the Assembly coald accept and agree to would be half.

The Council gave notice of motion on Thursday to move in committee to search for the Appropriation Bill and restore it to the Assembly.

The motion in. the Assembly was carried.
