District Prise Firing.
THE CADETg
In yesterday's issue we published a few of the highest scores made by the morning squad of cadets while firing for their district prizes. To-day we publish the completed scores, and it will be seen that out of the ten prizes offered the Naval Cadets secured eight. This plainly demonstrates the superiority of the Terry carbine, with which the Natal Cadets are armed, over the Enfleld carbine, which the Scottish Cadets hare,' and an effort should be made to supply the latter company with a better weapon. The following are the scores: — Stephens, Narals, Ist prize £3 .. 43 G. f enk, Navals, 2nd £2 ... ... 41 Xrerarthen, Scottish, 3rd £1... ... 40 Inglis, HavaJs, 4th £1 35 Mackie, Navals, 6th 15s 38 Butt, Narals, 6th 16s 32 Badford, Scottish, 7th 10s 31 Moore, Narnls, Bth 10s 30 A.
