(To the Editor of the Evbniito Stab.) Sib, —MrW. Howejoneof our representatives, promised to meet his constituents and give account of his stewardship, which he has not done. Many of his supporters, to whom he promised honesty of purpose to be returned, hare been, anxiously waiting for him to fulfil Ms promise, but are disappointed to find that he hat not acted up to his promise to them. If he has acted as an honest and straightfor- | ward man, why does he not come forward P If the contrary, then he is not fit toreE resent a respectable community. I say c ought to come forward and, meet his supporters. If he does not do so it will show that he is a deceiver, and has acted wrongly, and in that cass he ought to be requested to resign, and allow a man of honor to fill bis place.—l am, sir, yours, &c., Flag Field.
