Tuesday.
The Waverly correspondent of the Herald telegraphs that the Maoris have stopped the survey north of Monahaka, and attempted to seize the chains. A meeting of settlers is called for Saturday night. This survey is the one which was referred to by the Nalire Minister when he warned T»pa against the obstruction, and told him that the consequence would be serious.
