DUNEDIN.
Tuesday. The Government have resolved to invite tenders for the construction of one hundred railway waggons, similar to those already in use in the colony. Mr Logan, telegraph inspector, sung several songs from the Mosgiel end of the wire, and every word reached the Dunedin end distinctly. The telephone instruments are merely line wire.
