Id addition to the stampers employed by the Alburnia Company, Kneebone, of the Golden Cup, has a parcel under pro* cess of crushing. The efficiency of /the battery will be greatly increased byCjjje addition of one of Messrs Frater and linne's single stamper batteries, whieb is now being erected. The new water-wheel ! : worked by the waste water from the turbine is capable of driving two or three [ berdans, which enables the manager when required to put on an additional fire head of stampers. If the waste water from the Prince Alfred mill was also utilised for driving the wheel, the whole of the berdan power of the mill might be driven by this method, v ■ ' ""
