ALBURNIA.
At the mine little fresh of any importance has transpired since my last report. Several good parcels of specimens have come from the intermediate level, where both the specimen leader and Sons of Freedom are being worked with good profit. The improved appearance in the west drive, low level, continues. Carpenters' section is producing good atone. There is now close on three quarters of a ton of picked stuff and specimens on hand. At the battery, although no amalgam has been yet cleaned up, I can say authoritatively that at present it is shaping. . for about two ounces per ton, or perhaps a little more. The qaarts is comparatively free from mullock, and a good yield, may bo expected at the end of the month.
DAUNTLESS AND SINK TO BISE. '- McGarvey and party finished their crushing of 48 tons at the Herald battery to day lor the fair return of flOori Sdwts gold.
