This day. Godwin, who was injured by tho capsize of a break at the fire, is recovering.
The embers of the fire broke out into a formidable blazs last night, the sparks being scattered orer the neighbouring houses. The fire brigade were sent for, and extinguished the fire. The Rising Sun Hotel is to bo immediately re-builfc. LeTj, cornet player, gave a private performance to-day. H. S. Meyers, on a charge of concealment of three debts, aggregating £326, was sentenced to six mouths. Arthur Utiing, for fraudulent bankruptcy, received a similar sentence. The total insurance losses on the fire are £2500. The partial losses are not computed.
