Friday. At Courtney's cattle- sale yesterday, a number of Auckland cattle were sold, but brought indifferent prices :—Yearlings, £2 17s 6d ; store cows, £4 5a sd. Local cattle fetched belter rates -.—Heifers, near calving, £7 2s 6d to £7 10s ; milch cows, £6 10s to £9; cows at calving, £9 16s ; store ewes, 7s ; lambs, 3s to ss. Sailed: The barque Langstone, for London, with a full cargo of wool, skins, &c.
