WELLINGTON.

Friday. The Government Gazette just issued contains the following notices from the Colonial Secretary's office, signed by G. S. Wh-tmore: —"It is hereby notified for general information that the Government of New Zealand having decided not to take part in the international exhibition about to be held in Paris in May next, the Government of New South Wales has kindly consented to take charge of private exhibits from this colony, and any articles which persons in New Zealaud may desire to exhibit will be received by the AKent-General for New Zealand, at 7, Westminster Chambers, Victoria street, London, S.W., who will forward them to Professor Liversidgc, at tho exhibition at Paris. Professor Liversidge is the New South Wales Commissioner."
