Monday. A charge against Digrouchy of abduction was withdrawn, it being represented that prisoner had promised to marry the girl Leavy. Isaac Woodland will be a candidate for the Mayorality if Beeves does not stand. The town hall designs are to be submitted to a committee consisting of Messrs Be)\ and two independent architects. Three hundidd pounds were collected in the Knox Church yesterday for the purpose of reducing the debt on the church.
